ASHRAE 2007 Region VI Chapter Regional Conference will be held in Madison, Wisconsin, Thursday, May 3rd through Saturday, May 5th.

The conference will be held in the impressive Monona Terrace on the isthmus where the Wisconsin state capitol resides. Monona Terrace resides on the beautiful lake of it’s name sake. It is a design developed by Frank Lloyd Wright, which was originally designed in 1938 with revisions occurring up to seven weeks before his death in 1959. It was opened in 1997, which some ASHRAE Conference attendees viewed the footings being installed at our last Madison Chapter hosted CRC. It is a wonderful public facility, where we will enjoy the beauty of Wisconsin as we conduct our business and social activities.

WELCOME PARTY (Thursday, May 3)

The Welcome Party on Thursday night will be a tailgate party anchored by the UW Alumni Band recreating the famous "Fifth Quarter" of the University of Wisconsin Football Games. Participants are requested to identify their school in advance, and to make any requests in advance for their school music and flags to ashraecrc.r62007@gmail.com. Please wear your school colors to this exciting event!

BANQUET (Friday, May 4)

The featured speaker will be Mark Lee, former Astronaut and current practicing engineer in Madison WI. His presentation is "Observations from Space" featuring photographs from space.
